"Mr. Blue Sky, please tell us why you had to stay away for so long...."
Wow, what a beautiful sunny day after such a windy, rainy night. I forgot that this was how it's supposed to be after a storm, all nice and clean and bright and vivid. Lately bad weather seems to get trapped in Philly and can't find it's way out for a week, stumbling out and back into the region over and over like the drunk at the dive bar who doesn't want to go home. Too bad I had to go to work or else I could have kept riding and riding. I think I'll take a bike ride at lunch.

Listening to: Bauhaus - "Bela Lugosi's Dead"

Also, I nominate this pic for the Best of... category.

Consider it done!

And Bela Lugosi is indeed, dead. I should get some Bauhaus, haven't heard them in years.

They really hold up well.

Yeah, I just looked up Peter Murphy a few weeks ago, when Cuts You Up came on the radio, and he is still doing interesting stuff.
And I have a Love and Rockets tape here somewhere, Kundalini Express and all that stuff. But I never owned any Bauhaus (listened to a lot, a college roommate was a huge fan).

Not sure why I like the pic, but the muscles, the pose, the ribbons. It just works.

I could listen to Love and Rockets all day long. Soooo freaking good.

Yeah, the whole ballerina thing really appeals to me for some reason.

hm, can we get a new category/tag for "floss"?

to the other info — i like bauhaus, but love & rockets and peter's solo work i think are both much better. not just because they grew, but because i think their styles don't really jibe. see: the recent bauhaus album. yikes, that stinks.
