chana kulcha
Since my favorite taco cart (Honest Tom's) has been closed for the past couple weeks, I've been getting in touch with some of my old faves. One I've been hitting a lot is an Indian-owned Mexican cart at 36th and Spruce where I rarely buy their Mexican food (even though it's good). Instead I go for their one Indian dish: Chana Kulcha. It's several pieces of delicious flat bread, heated on the grill and served with a healthy serving of curried chickpeas, topped (if you like) with raw onions. It's so satisfying and delicious, not to mention a lot healthier than most cart food options. Mmmmm... I guess that's what I'm having for lunch in a couple hours!

I walk by that one sometimes on my way to KoJa, but never tried them because there's always a lot of people waiting around. I should definitely give them a shot. Thanks for the recommendation!
