church, music, rain, movies, and sandwiches
Yesterday, I went to a church! theballadofyoko was playing a lunchtime concert with her woodwind trio. It was a great performance and the often whimsical songs were a lovely contrast to the gloominess of the Episcopal setting. Also, it was fun to eat a corned beef sandwich while sitting in the pews, which though allowed still felt very naughty.

The Film Festival gets off to an unfortunately rainy start tonight and it looks like it will be rainy more often than not for the next week. Blah. You may well think that the weather doesn't matter much when you're sitting in dark movie theaters all afternoon, but I'll tell you on four movie days, you really value those brief bursts of sunlight you can catch between films. Ah, well.

I can understand that. Of the 4 24 hour, and 1 12 hour marathon I've been to, the ones where I emerged into bright, cheerful sunlight rather than a freezing hell scape or rain were infinitely more pleasant.

Great butt...terrible stockings and shoes.
