Supernatural, Pushing Daisies, and Mad Men
So Supernatural has been really good lately. I have to give the writers a lot of credit for how they combine fun and angst without deflating the scariness of the bad guys by making them comical buffoons the way Buffy writers so often did. Of course it helps that co-lead Jensen Ackles is such a terrific actor.

The season premier of Pushing Daisies was just ok. I have to say that if that had been my first exposure to the show, I'm not so sure I would have kept watching. Hopefully they have some better episodes waiting in the wings.

Also coasting somewhat is Mad Men. Even with Don and Betty's marital troubles, this season has felt way undramatic compared to last season. The writing has been just interesting enough to keep me motivated and I'm sure they're building up to some big stuff. I just hope I'm still awake when they finally get there.

I gave the first season of Mad Men a try. Well, the first half of it so far anyway. I'm glad I did. It is good TV. You shouldn't have said it gets ungood!

I was tempted to agree with you, but I think I need to see her without the boots just to be absolutely sure.
