Station Bar & Grill
The Noah's Ark, one of the so-called "nuisance bars" in our neighborhood (although I never personally noticed a problem), has been reincarnated by new owners. It's now the more upscale Station Bar & Grill. Nice beer selection, pool table, and a big high def television over the bar on which we watched lots of Olympic boxing and volleying. Their sandwiches were decent, the sweet potato fries were great, but their chicken wings, coated with a spicy Bacardi 151 sauce, were truly terrific. Prices are a little high, but I guess that means the old hood is getting classier or something.

The CityPaper makes it sound really nice: http://www.citypaper.net/blogs/clog/2008/08/05/station-bar-grill-opens-in-south-philly/

I wonder whether Michael's will ever clean up its act....

Dang it, that description made me hungry and I am on bland foods right now. (*grumble* stomach bug...)

Sorry.... I'll try to write about miso soup or white rice tomorrow.

No worries, I am just grumbly because of bland food-eating. I will eventually give in to the call of flavorful food... or talk Vogon into going to our local upscale bar/billiards place for their delectable Newcastle cheese soup.

Yeah, it's really nice. I keep thinking that something mythological is going on in it.

Yeah, some god or goddess appearing before her.

Which side?

I've always thought that the side-boobage was underutilized in photography. I understand this is a blog that deifies the tuchus, but a little side-boobage thrown in for good measure is always nice.
