lunchtime woes

Today is a very sad day.

As I'm sure I've mentioned many times, I eat the same falafel salad for lunch just about every day. It's ritualistic, borderline obsessive compulsive really. But Magic Carpet, the vegetarian cart where I get it, is closing down today until January 9th! Stupid college students with their stupid winter break! What about me? What about Ass Monkey? Doesn't he deserve a delicious, healthy lunch too?

The ice cream place in the food court sells falafel, but it's not as good. I think I'd rather eat something completely different than a pale imitation of what I really want. I'd go to this great Vietnamese cart for some eggplant and tofu in black bean sauce a few blocks away, but they're probably shutting down too. If it's not too cold I could trek way over to the sushi place. They're probably staying open. Although, I know in my heart of hearts that I'm just going to end up going to pub and cheeseburgers and buffalo wings for the next two and half weeks.

For that reason, I think I'm going to stop weighing myself until mid January.
