Yahoo Instant messenger 8.1 has been driving me nuts by using too much of my system memory. So, I switched back to 6.0 (you can get old versions from this site). Now it's using one sixth of the memory even while I'm running my Launchcast radio station in it. Plus no ads and Launchcast actually plays more smoothly than in the modern version!

Screw innovation. I just want stuff that works.

In non win-win news, I somehow got roped into driving my parents up to the airport in Newark today. Ugh. 3+ hours of driving, but at least I'll be alone for half of it. Better burn some music for the ride.
