torn between two biopics
I kind of want to see Werner Herzog's attempt at an action flick, Rescue Dawn, just because I love Jeremy Davies (especially since he might be playing someone who's gone insane), but I'm not sure I'm up for scene after scene of Christian Bale getting tortured (especially since I know he's secretly Batman and could beat up everbody in that POW camp).

But Talk to Me is probably going to win out, because it has Don Cheadle starring as 60s & 70s radio sensation and community activist Petey Green. Plus it's got Chiwetel Ejiofor (Serenity, Kinky Boots) who is always awesome. And I loved director Kasi Lemmons' last two films (Caveman's Valentine and Eve's Bayou).

I'm coming late to this party, but my favorite Werner Herzog bit of weirdness is when he saved Joaquin Phoenix from a car wreck. That is one crazy story.

That's a great story. I think I'd be twice as frightened with Herzog talking to me.

lol I hadn't heard about the car accident story either, pretty cool. I did enjoy Herzog's documentary(Little Dieter needs to fly)on Dieter Dengler that Rescue Dawn is based on. Considering that Bale is one of the better actors out there right now, I'm looking forward to it. I'm just worried about his health- first he loses a bunch of weight to look emaciated in 'The Machinist', then buffs up to play Batman, then crash weight loss again to play POW Dengler. Hope he doesn't keel over before he's 40!
