Doctor Who (spoilerish)

So Doctor Who's been quite good lately. Nice seeing Daisy from "Spaced" in the past couple episodes as the Doctor's love interest. I guess they've pretty much given up on demonstrating that the Doctor has evolved past simple heterosexuality (as he implied saavy types like him and Jack have done). At least based on his last four or five love interests. Still, Daisy did good work and I liked her character's reasons for not going with him. All in all, a very nice bit of drama.

Harry Lloyd was a lot of fun as the evil alien-possessed kid. Hopefully, we'll see him again, what with this season's theme of immortality. I might have to look for a torrent of the Robin Hood series he was in.

Ah, cool, thanks for the save.

I was pretty much guaranteed being disappointed in it, becuase all I really want is for Will Scarlet to refer to the baddy as "Sheriff-of-mine."

Oh yes, truly, truly awful. Although you can have fun playing "spot the anachronisms" or "drink every time one of the actors demonstrates that they cannot act". I usually love British shows but I had to give up in disgust after about episode 4 (and that was giving it the benefit of the doubt for 3 more episodes than necessary). Watch "Robin of Sherwood" instead.

I like how you reference her as Daisy. Jessica really played that role well and I can never fully accept her as any other character. Not that she is a bad actor, she is just Daisy.

I was fortunate in not recognizing her as Daisy til about halfway through the first part, because otherwise the recognition would have really affected my getting to know her character.
