wayback wednesday: "When I'm dancin' the hoedown and my boots kinda slow down..."  
My favorite rhyme is from those little "Time for Timer" cartoons. If you don't remember Timer, he was a round yellow blob of guy with long skinny arms and legs and he would teach kids about "healthy" eating. He'd come on in between your saturday morning cartoons (around the same time as "Schoolhouse Rock").

Anyway, in one of them he sings:

"I've got something planned, which is
Little cheese sandwiches!


I don't know why that appeals to me so much (maybe because of the three syllable rhyme), but there are times that I just can't get it out of my head. I just walk down the street, mouthing the words over and over again.

Jeez, no wonder my wife looked at me funny when I was tlaking about him a couple of weeks ago...

Same network, but different series. ABC was wicked skillful at making entertaining public service programming for kids back in the 70s.
