cow meat

Over the past ten years, I've gone from eating beef almost every day to eating it less than once a week. Sometimes only once a month. I'm not sure why exactly, but I guess it was vaguely about eating healthier. I'd probably never go completely vegetarian, but I was definitely becoming more and more vegetarianish. And all was well.

But then a few weeks ago I went to Chicago for work. And because I was away from home and because just about all of my meals were being paid for, I decided to just eat whatever I wanted. So there was an abundance of bacon, a lot of raw tuna, and of course... steak. I ate steak every day I was there except for one.

And now something strange has happened to me. I can't get enough of it. No matter how much beef I eat, it's still not enough. Hamburgers, steaks, roast beef, tacos, it's all good. I even find myself fantasizing about it. It's like once it gets in my system, I can't shake it. I might have to go into beef detox.
