My two favorite sit-coms returned last night. "The Office" was good. I liked the way they handled the ramifications of Jim and Pam's kiss at the end of last season. I'm curious how long they'll keep up Jim's exile. "My Name is Earl" was less good, primarilly because there wasn't nearly enough Randy in it. I'm not a big fan of Earl's ex-wife, so a whole episode based around her is a bit trying. She did get off two good lines though: "It was a crime of principal, like when Rosa Parks stole that bus." and (looking at Randy's graffiti tag) "Oooh, that's pretty. I'd probably read more if everything was written like that."
