The girl and I went to see World Party last night. So much fun. (Many thank you's to ghibli_geek for letting me know about it!) They opened with "Put the Message in the Box" and "Is It Like Today?" (with a great introduction about how he wrote it after discovering Bertrand Russell's "A History of Western Philosophy") and finished the encore with "Ship of Fools." I'm spacing on the other songs. Oh, "She's the One" of course. A very nice time.
Sadly, we finished watching season two of Veronica Mars this weekend. The ending made far more sense to me this time around then when it originally aired. After watching the first two seasons virtually back to back this summer, it's going to be hard as hell to get back to the only one per week grind.
