wayback wednesday: Flirting
Flipping through the channels on sunday afternoon, I was amazed to come across "Flirting," one of my favorite films, playing on Fox (of all places). Seeing it again renewed my interest in seeing all of director John Duigan's other films. Particularly the ones he also wrote. So far the only other one I've seen is "The Year My Voice Broke." Any recommendations?

Just saw Paranoid a few weeks ago. Jessica Alba is weepingly hot, but that doesn't stop the film from being mediocre at best. Wide Sargasso Sea was better.

Excellent. One to look for and one to avoid. Thanks!

Flirting was remarkable, but the only other movie I think I've seen is Sirens, which was largely forgettable. I think. I don't remember.

I vaguely remember trailers for that one. A decadent artist send alluring women to seduce some minister or some such thing?

And with a premise like that, how could it miss? And yet, it does. Sigh.

Truly the mind doth reel.
