ultraviolet, part one
I started watching the British vampire series "Ultraviolet" yesterday (thank you very much, mrs_munt. So far it seems pretty darn good. It's going to take me a while to get used to Steve from "Coupling" (Jack Davenport) playing a dramatic lead though. I mean, I like his acting and all, but I've watched so much "Coupling" that whenever he's on the screen, I expect to here that singular Stephen Moffat dialogue coming out of his mouth. And... it doesn't.

Listening to: Ben Folds - "Bastard"

Ultraviolet rocks.

(Jack Davenport) playing a dramatic lead though.

Heh. My wife and I were watching the last Prime Suspect when it hit BBC America, and about ten minutes into it I turned to her and said, "isn't that... PATRICK?"

And she said "yep."

Helen Mirren will never be the same in my eyes...

There was a young lady from Natchez
Whose garments was always in Patchez
When asked to account for the state of her garb
She replied, " When Ah itchez Ah Scratchez.

You're welcome, of course. I will check out Coupling!

Did you know, that's him in Pirates of the Carribean--

It all links back to Dr Who... Ultraviolet was written and directed by someone who directed the new Who and Stephen Moffat wrote the two-parter the empty child/the doctor dances which neatly showed off the two sides of stephen moffat - the poigniant drama side and the comedy farce side...

Yeah, I've been crazy about everything Moffat's done so far. I hope he's got some episodes the upcoming season.

Comic 'gossip collumnist' rich johnston is also a big moffat fan... he particularly like his stuff on press gang - and yeah - i liked that too - i also liked his divorce farce, joking apart...

Yup, and I think he's going to be in the sequels too. He was also in that movie where Grace from Will & Grace hires a date for her sister's wedding.
