Last night I loaded the soundtracks to Barbarella and CQ onto my ipod, so the morning commute was super-groovy. If you've never seen CQ, it's about a young American filmmaker (Jeremy Davies) who's working on the set of this sexy French sci-fi movie (basically Barbarella) in the late 1960s. The soundtrack by the band Mellow is an amazing blend of 60s French pop music and 60s sci-fi movie scoring.

I have the album "Another Mellow Spring" from Mellow
I got it years ago, I don't listen to it that much, but it;s
good for when I'm in a rare electronic-pop mood :)

Jane Fonda
I saw Barbarella when it was first released; that was after Jane had been well and truly laid, but before she became so political. Any pictures of her butt from the Sixties would be welcomed by your entire readerblogship.
The film is great too, and the soundtrack plays itself in my head without the need for all this expensive ipod stuff
