Geeky day yesterday. First Sin City, then Doctor Who.

Sin City was a lot of fun. Very stylized. A little long, but there wasn't really anything I would have cut out. Definitely Mickey Rourke's film. Oddly, it often reminded me of MTV's animated version of the Maxx.

Second episode of Doctor Who kept up the quality, but wasn't quite as compelling as the first one. Mostly because it was really talky. The original series could get really talky to, sometimes brilliantly, sometimes boringly. Hmmmm.... I'm pretty sure boringly isn't actually a word, but you know what I mean.
